SMARTTECH 3D Optical Measurement Systems appoints CADimensions, Inc. as its Certified Reseller in North East USA

SMARTTECH, the metrology grade optical 3D scanners producer, announced today that it has added CADimensions, Inc. to its fast growing global channel.

As a certified distributor, CADimensions will sell and support SMARTTECH Optical 3D scanners and software, for complex reverse engineering and quality inspection applications. CADimensions will represent SMARTTECH throughout the North East region of the United States, boosting SMARTTECH sales, customer relations and business logistics.

CADimensions, Inc. was founded in 1990 in Syracuse, NY and is a distributor of Stratasys industrial 3D printing solutions and SOLIDWORKS software. The mission of the company is to put the proper engineering tools in the hands of their customers, so they may realize a shorter time to market and a reduction in design, manufacturing and overall operational costs. Therefore, the addition of 3D scanning technologies falls perfectly in line with the company’s mission, making them the right partner to bring SMARTTECH Optical 3D scanners to the US industrial market.

“For over 25 years we’ve been servicing the 3D engineering community. We started with 3D CAD and then grew to include 3D Printing and now the addition of 3D Scanners is the next step in our evolution. Our customers have expressed a need for 3D scanning technology and we’re very excited to be able to offer them a very high-end solution at an affordable price.” – Andrew DiLaura, VP of Sales & Marketing in CADimensions.

For SMARTTECH, it is very important to have a distributor who will be able to present their scanning technologies in that area and, based on the success CADimensions has had for nearly three decades, they feel they’ve teamed up with a great partner.

“CADimensions is now equipped with our high-end 3D Scanner from MICRON3D product line and all modules of Geomagic 3D software. With access to this technology, they can present all aspects of 3D scanning, not only for industrial and manufacturing applications, but also to the educational and museum markets”, claims Mr. Kris Gebarski, CEO of SMARTTECH 3D.
